Daily Printing, Inc. was founded in 1950’s by salesman and World War II fighter pilot, Hubert “Hub” Daly. The company had its humble beginnings with only 2 people on its payroll, where they worked on the second floor of a drug store in south Minneapolis. By 1967, they had expanded their business by adding new presses and nearly 20 employees, which required them to move to a larger location just east of Uptown.

By the early 1990’s, the company had seen immense growth in both sales and employees. In 1991 Hub sold the company to the employees, creating one of the largest ESOP print companies in the Midwest. After two more moves, Daily Printing found its new and current home in 1994. The 80,000 sq. ft facility would usher in a new and technologically advanced era, providing services thought unthinkable in the early days.

Today, Daily Printing continues to provide customers with top quality printing and marketing services. The company also continues its long standing traditions with its employee owners to provide them with a friendly and family-like environment in which they can grow and prosper.

Our History

1950's

1950 - Hired our first full time employee
1951 - Renamed Postal Print as Daily Printing
1955 - With now 3 employees Daily moves to new a building on Hennepin Avenue in Downtown Minneapolis

1960's

1968 - Daily relocates to 2922 Lyndale Ave South

1970's

1971 - Daily Printing surpasses the $1MM sales mark for the first time
1978 - Daily builds a new facility in Plymouth, MN, with 35,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and surpasses $2MM in sales
1979 - Daily buys our first 4 color process printing press

1980's

1985 - Acquires Rapid Copy Inc.

1990's

1991 - Daily surpasses the $10MM sales mark
1991 - Created the ESOP 1991 and Employees Purchased the Business from Hub
1992 - Daily adds 16,000 sq ft expansion to the Plymouth location
1994 - Opens a new manufacturing facility at the current Plymouth location, adding 80,000 Sq Ft of Manufacturing Space
1994 - Daily invests in the first of its kind direct imaging printing press, a Heidelberg DI press

2000's

2006 - Entered the Digital Print/Variable Data Marketing Arena with First Digital Press, Xerox iGen3
2007 - Entered the High-speed Commercial Offset Era with the purchase of a Heidelberg XL105 Press
2009 - Launched the Daily Printing Direct Mail Program featuring CO-Palletization Mailing Process for Postage Optimization Savings for our clients

2010's

2015 - First Smart Mail Inserter arrives at Daily, to further enhance the direct mail program for our clients
2018 - Purchased Komori 8 color HUV Perfecting Press expanding the range of substrates to print on and moving to energy curing to reduce production time
